Some issues that many roof racks have is theft and wind noise.  The Rhino rack roof system has a key lock system on all four points to prevent thieves from stealing your roof rack. Wind noise is minimal with this light weight durable roof rack because of the aerodynamic design. Here is a video below on how to get rid of roof rack wind noise quick. If you want your roof rack to be quieter you can instal a wind fairing. Even the best roof racks may require a wind fairing to muffle the wind noise.

Try to find roof rack straps that self tighten and have a rubber coating on metal parts. Another important part of a roof rack installation is to apply 3M clear protective film to areas where the roof rack arms will make contact with the paint of your vehicle.
